While my mum and I aren't on speaking terms at the moment, I still would like to wish her a very happy birthday. She gave up so much for me and my siblings, that it's hard not to appreciate everything she did, and continues to do for us, despite the fact that we're all adults. I love my mom very much, even if, a lot of the times, we don't see eye to eye on things, or don't spend much time together at all. She's my mommy, and I admire everything she's accomplished. So. with that said.

Now it's time to get ready and go out and buy her gift.
And i'm going to do my best to make today/night not so awkward, even though I know we both rather be doing different things than sitting down for dinner together. sigh.
